Seeking a Director of Contract Management to be responsible for all aspects of the strategy, development, deployment and managing the Contract Management organization.
Manages contracts through the contract life-cycle, through collection, inclusive of terms and conditions.
Works with Sales and customers to simplify contracts.
Works cross-functionally with Legal, Financial, Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure all aspects of risk in the contracts are accurate and properly protect the company.
Works with Financial Analysts, Operations, and Branches to ensure accuracy of pricing and obtain acceptable profit margin.
Develops and monitors strategy for customer retention & profitability.
Coordinates with Operational Support to ensure timely input of all required contract information into the Accounts Receivable System.
Assists Operational Support in ensuring the branch administrators know what and how to accurately bill the contract.
Helps resolve invoice disputes and supports internal and external audits.
Actively participates in Account Team Activities.
This person will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of key initiatives within the department/company. They will be responsible for the development, execution, training and support of Operational Support initiatives that cut across operations. Also, they will support the Account Team efforts by providing commercial contract management services and supports cross functional and client facing Quality Control initiatives.
BS in Business/Accounting discipline. MBA preferred.
Skills and experience:
10+ years' experience in strategic commercial department development.
10+ years' experience in training and development of commercial personnel.
10+ years' experience in process improvement with demonstrated track record.
Able to lead and develop professional team with many different responsibilities.
Able to develop important relationships with many levels of employees.
Demonstrated experience with evaluating and developing processes.
Demonstrated experience with performance metrics desired.
Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, leadership abilities and effective decision-making skills.
Understanding of internal audit or testing/review of internal controls.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word / Excel / Project / Power Point / Outlook/Access).
Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams.
Manages all aspects of the contracting process through collections.
Monitors management of customer relationships internally and externally.
Ensures contract and client profitability targets are achieved.
