This position will be responsible for all marketing and communications internally and externally.
Individual will work with the leadership team and all levels of the Company to develop and implement the marketing strategy for the Company in line with business objectives.
Develops, coordinates and executes marketing and communication activities with internal and external clients to support organizational goals.
Provides sales support, advance brand building to ensure consistent corporate identity, and pursue positive publicity through media and social media.
Develops and implements the Company’ s strategy for marketing, communications, media and social media to serve the business objectives.
The manager creates, implements and oversees communication programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its services.
Writes communications and prepares presentations geared toward customers, employees and the public.
Develops and maintains online content that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared with social networks.
Establishes new and manages ongoing relationships with members of the media, online community and marketing vendors.
Stays abreast of news and changes in the industry and marketing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and manage development of marketing collateral including marketing and sales support materials, presentations, promotional materials and online presence.
Manages the marketing activities and programs for the organization including advertising, public relations, media relations, events and sales collateral
Prepare press releases as directed by management and pursue positive publicity in business and oil and gas publications to market the business
Create and execute customer-focused events. Maximize event budget while creating exceptional experience for attendees capturing company messages and goals.
Work with internal management teams to provide market insights and growth opportunities for company service model within the Company’ s geographic footprint.
Develop business cases for marketing programs at proposal stage and make recommendations for implementation, execution and completion.
Drive collaboration with stakeholders and leverage efficient and cost effective internal processes within budget utilizing accurate forecasting.
Create online content for social media and maintain website.
Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
Gather information, prepare and monitor corporate/marketing planning calendar.
Prepares and adheres to budget.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met.
Knowledge and Skills
Eight to ten years in marketing roles in a related industry with at least two years specifically in a marketing supervisory position.
Bachelor’ s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating marketing programs and reporting on the results. Knowledge and experience of media relations, social marketing, content marketing and ideally in an oil and gas/energy environment.
Strong ability to multi-task by being organized and detail-oriented to manage and coordinate many projects and vendors simultaneously.
Proven track record in strategic communications planning.
Media planning experience with the ability to read, understand and approve detailed multi- media plans.
High level of tact and diplomacy with internal and external stakeholders. Problem solving savvy. Ability to interact and adapt effectively with all levels of the company with confidence.
Budget planning and process management with strong analytical and project management skills.
In-depth understanding of the role of creative, PR, and media with ability to attract and retain great vendors and partners. Strong creative outlook. Competence as a writer with an eye for detail.
